Targeted to please the advanced to expert level snowboarder, the Alchemist is packed with functional technology. This snowboard features two unique technologies from the K2 camp; the SpaceGlass™ tip insert and the patented Spectral Braid. SpaceGlass™ is a pre-cured fiberglass insert that helps reduce weight, reduce chatter, and increase edge pressure. Spectral Braid is a technology that allows us to adjust tip-to-tail stiffness independently from the torsional stiffness. This lets us make a torsionally stiffer snowboard in the tip and tail to promote edge hold while keeping it more relaxed between the feet to allow for easy turn initiation.

CAMBER

New to the K2 spitboard family for the 2024 snowboard range is the Isolator. Made with a strong and responsive Paulownia Tour-Lite core this thing is LITE! A bit stiffer than the Marauder Splitboard the Isolator has the ICG 20 Biax Carbon Fiberglass laminates as opposed to the 10 the Marauder sports. The K2 Isolator has a wide nose with no rocker in the tail so has a true directional shape and camber. Sporting the  Volume Shift technology you can size down 4-5cm shorter than you would usually ride.

The K2 Freeloader Splitboard package is built on the same unisex outline as the Marauder Split. A bit of taper in the tail of the Freeloader helps it sink in the deep stuff, while the wider nose stays up well above the surface and blasts through choppy snow. The Paulownia TourLite core is ultra-lightweight and is wrapped in a triaxial braided fiberglass featuring our ICG™️ 20 technology. The K2 Boundary snowboard boot features a dual-zone closure with BOA® Fit System to micro-tune your fit. A dedicated BOA® dial for the upper shell and a second dial dedicated to closing the lower part of the shell. The upper cuff of the boot is constructed with our HDR Premium Synthetics. It features a fully articulating design, upping the durability factor while reducing the distortion of the shell as it flexes forward.

Inside, a supportive three-point harness is integrated into the shell, wrapping itself around a thermoformable Intuition® Control Foam 3D liner for the ultimate fit.

Underfoot, our proprietary This Grips!™ rubber outsole provides excellent grip while hiking, boot packing, and walking across icy parking lots and sits atop a dual-density midsole. This midsole features a lightweight EVA material and is complemented with our Harshmellow™ damping material to cushion your bones and reduce fatigue after long days on the hill.

Impact-resistant, durable, and performance-driven, the H4 BOA® Dial ejects on severe impact and is easily re-inserted into the boot. The H4 dial controls the upper shell lacing, while the M3 dial controls the lower shell lacing.
