It starts with a heat-moldable liner made of open-cell Intuition® foam - allowing the liner to form to the exact shape of your leg, ankle, and foot for superior fit, warmth, and comfort. The secret to the award-winning fit is our Conda™ liner lacing system. Powered by a BOA® Fit System dial, this forgiving and adjustable harness is designed to pull the user's heel into the boot's heel pocket. This urethane-based harness hugs your ankle and flexes naturally.
Externally, we started with an articulating cuff to reduce distortion when bending the knee, and we've added an abrasion-resistant rubber compound for unrelenting durability. A high-powered BOA® Fit System H4 Coiler closes the shell securely and can be done without removing your gloves.
Lastly, to add durability and maintain the boot's flex over the boot's lifetime, we constructed the K2 Maysis using our Endo™ technology. Underfoot, we've used premium materials to improve damping and grip. The outsole is built using our proprietary This Grips!™ dual-rubber compound to provide excellent grip both on and off the snow. This is all set atop a dual-density midsole comprised of a lightweight EVA and our proprietary Harshmellow™, designed to dampen vibration on rough terrain and cushion big landings.

When will I receive my Order? - Depending on what it is and how large your order is plays a big part on how long it will take.
Once we receive your order we will get it out to you as soon as possible. Some times the stock can be in our Queenstown store and needs to be brought over to Wanaka to ship out. Small items, once sent are on overnight NZ Post so should be 1-2 business days.
Larger items such as bags, skis, snowboards are sent with PBT and run on a 4-5 business days south island and 7-9 Days North Island. Sometimes these can take up to three weeks to the North Island so please allow time to get to you. These are also subject to delays due to staff shortages / Christmas madness etc. along the chain.
Please keep in mind that if you have a rural address this can add an extra day or two also.
In general, we ship our orders with CourierPost, which we run on a 1-2 day service with pickup at 3pm each day.
Larger items, such as luggage, skis and snowboards, ship on an earlier service with PBT couriers. This is a fully traceable service. (Just to note: if it is a rural delivery, it can take a few more days depending on your local service.)

K2's snowboard boot scientists approached K2 Snowboarding Team Rider Sage Kotsenburg with a new concept on snowboard boot construction - and the switch flipped, it was on. A first-of-it’s-kind construction comes from a one-piece rubber lower with integrated mesh. To boil it down, this means that the Orton will not only be waterproof, but also warm and dry, all day long. The one-piece-rubber lower is married with a dual-zone BOA® lacing system, making this a versatile boot, fitting feet of all shapes and sizes.
In the development of this boot, Sage spent over 100 days in this product, getting it 100% right. Atop of that, the Orton was tested by K2 staff, their team of athletes, backcountry guides, and their film crew. Thousands and thousands of hours went into setting a new standard with the Orton. Sage knows that the devil is in the details…and he’s detailed. For the best performance in the bootpack, we chose our V5 Vibram® rubber outside. For ultimate damping and vibration absorption, we chose our Harshmallow™ injected midsole and Harshmallow™ Pro insole. The waist width, sidecut, camber profile, and taper were spot on - but some riders we spoke to were looking for something a bit more robust for higher speeds and steeper terrain, and we said…”let’s make some prototypes.” We did, they were okay, so we made some more, and some more, and they f#cking ruled.
The result of proto round #3… the COMMONWEALTH - using the same shape and geometry that has made the Passport successful, with a more “beefed up” feature set for riders looking for something a bit more demanding. Our A1 Core gets wrapped in a heavier weight tri-axial fiberglass, which is then layered in our patented Spectral Braid - a piece of technology that we developed that allows you to fine tune the tip-to-tail flex of the snowboard independently from the torsional flex - it rules, we promise. We topped it all off with a wax infused sintered 4001 base to make sure you’re not getting stuck in the flats.
We believe that everyone should be able to experience the mountains - so the Commonwealth was designed and tested for all-genders. Order under $75 are $6.99 to ship within New Zealand which is Rural also.
We do charge a $5 rural delivery charge on orders over $75 as this service is considerably more expensive to send.

When will I receive my Order? - Depending on what it is and how large your order is plays a big part on how long it will take.
Once we receive your order we will get it out to you as soon as possible. Some times the stock can be in our Queenstown store and needs to be brought over to Wanaka to ship out. Small items, once sent are on overnight NZ Post so should be 1-2 business days.
Larger items such as bags, skis, snowboards are sent with PBT and run on a 4-5 business days south island and 7-9 Days North Island. Sometimes these can take up to three weeks to the North Island so please allow time to get to you. These are also subject to delays due to staff shortages / Christmas madness etc. along the chain.
Please keep in mind that if you have a rural address this can add an extra day or two also.
In general, we ship our orders with CourierPost, which we run on a 1-2 day service with pickup at 3pm each day.
Larger items, such as luggage, skis and snowboards, ship on an earlier service with PBT couriers. This is a fully traceable service. (Just to note: if it is a rural delivery, it can take a few more days depending on your local service.)
