Got a chance to ride the 2025 Union Force recently, and honestly they’re legit. If you want bindings that can do a bunch without feeling like you’re riding boots strapped to something unresponsive, these are a solid pick.
First off, they’re pretty powerful. The flex is around a 7/10 (medium-stiff), which means you get good edge control when you want it, but they’re not totally brutal.  The baseplate + highback use Union’s Duraflex ST stuff, which feels tough but still lets enough give to keep things somewhat forgiving. 
One thing I really liked: the ride’s nicer than older stiff setups in terms of smoothness. They added a “Molecular Bushing Suspension System” underfoot, which helps soak up chatter, bumps, whatever. Makes carving or riding over rough snow less punishing.  The straps are comfy too — the ExoFrame 6.0 ankle strap is padded better, and the toe strap (TS 5.0) grips well from different angles. 
But yeah, there are a few trade-offs. They’re a bit heavier than lighter freestyle bindings, so if you’re doing lots of ollies, park-laps, or want super playful feel, you might feel a little overkill. Also, while the dampening is better than some past versions, it still won’t be as buttery smooth as something super plush like Union’s top damp-specialist bindings. 
Overall though: if you ride all over — groomers, pow, mixed snow, maybe some jumps — these Force bindings give you strength + comfort + versatility. Great if you want one solid setup and aren’t chasing extreme specialization.
