The North Face 1996 Retro Nuptse Jacket revives the original 90s design with a relaxed, boxy silhouette and oversized baffles packed with lofty 700-fill down for reliable warmth in proper winter conditions. The outer uses a durable, shiny recycled nylon ripstop with a non-PFC DWR finish to shed light moisture, while a recycled nylon taffeta overlay on the shoulders and collar adds extra toughness where packs and daily wear hit hardest. A stowable three-piece hood zips away into the collar when you want a cleaner street look, and deploys quickly when the weather turns. The jacket packs into its own hand pocket for travel, has secure-zip hand pockets for everyday carry, and an adjustable hem and cuffs to seal in heat on cold, windy days.
