The Tecnica Womens Zero G Tour Scout Ski Boots are a stiff, lightweight touring boot (around 115 flex) for experienced backcountry skiers who want strong downhill performance without giving up an efficient, big‑range walk mode.
| Fit Range | Medium width, 99 mm last (reference size) |
| Flex | Approx. 115, touring‑focused but powerful |
| Weight | About 1180–1360 g per boot depending on size |
| Ideal For | Advanced–expert women touring and big‑mountain descents |
The Zero G Tour Scout W is built as a “skiers’ touring boot” for women who like to climb plenty of vertical and still ski hard on the way down. A 99 mm last and women’s‑specific shell shape give a snug, performance fit for average‑width feet, while Tecnica’s C.A.S. shell and Light Fit liner can be heat‑moulded and punched where needed for a more precise, long‑day‑friendly fit. The Grilamid shell with co‑injected fibreglass cuff, four lightweight magnesium buckles and 35 mm power strap deliver a stout flex around 115, so the boot feels closer to a light alpine boot than a soft touring slipper when you’re driving modern freeride skis. On the skintrack, the Mobility Cuff/T‑Hike mechanism and new hinge point give up to about 65° of cuff rotation, while Vibram rubber soles with low‑tech inserts keep things secure in pin bindings and when scrambling over rocky ridgelines.
Stiff touring flex:
- Flex around 115 provides strong support for aggressive descents compared to many lighter, softer touring boots.
C.A.S. custom shell and liner:
- Anatomic shell and Ecodesign Light Fit liner can be heat‑moulded and punched to dial in fit and relieve pressure points.
Lightweight construction:
- Grilamid shell, co‑injected fibreglass cuff and light magnesium buckles keep weight around 1180–1360 g per boot depending on size.
Big walk range:
- T‑Hike/Mobility cuff mechanism and revised hinge deliver up to 65° of motion for efficient, friction‑free touring.
Tour‑ready outsole:
- ISO 9523 sole with Vibram rubber and low‑tech inserts works with pin tech and MNC/Sole‑ID style bindings for versatile setups.
Women’s‑specific design:
- W.S.D. Light Fit liner and cuff geometry are tailored for women’s lower‑leg shapes and lighter weights, improving comfort and control.
