Salomon Depart .02 Skis 2027 turn the whole hill into a park, with a lively twin-tip shape, plenty of pop and enough stability to back up creative lines from rail gardens to sidehits and sidecountry laps.

The Salomon Depart .02 is a modern all‑mountain park ski, built so the entire mountain skis like a feature line. A twin‑tip, freestyle‑rocker shape (rocker at both ends with camber underfoot) keeps butters, nose presses and switch landings feeling natural, while still giving enough effective edge to carve cleanly across firm groomers. Under the hood, a Karuba/Poplar full wood core balances low swing weight with solid landing support, backed up by a full sandwich sidewall build and wide steel edges to handle regular rail and box abuse. Titanal binding reinforcement underfoot stiffens the platform around the mount area for stronger edging and better durability when you’re stomping bigger hits. With its mid‑90s to ~100 mm waist, the Depart .02 feels quick edge‑to‑edge in the park but still has enough platform to blast through spring slush and the odd soft‑snow day.
Freestyle rocker profile:
- Rockered tip and tail with camber underfoot make presses, butters and switch skiing easy while keeping strong grip on hardpack.
Karuba/Poplar full wood core:
- Lightweight, lively core gives plenty of pop for ollies and take‑offs without feeling flimsy on landings.
Ti binding reinforcement:
- Titanal plate underfoot improves power transfer to the edges and boosts binding‑mount durability.
Full sandwich sidewalls:
- Vertical sidewalls deliver precise edge control and dependable hold when carving into jumps or on icy in‑runs.
Wide steel edges:
- Beefed‑up edges are built to better withstand regular park use and rail sessions.
Playful flex with support:
- Softer, more press‑friendly flex in the tips and tails with enough backbone underfoot for stability at speed.
