The Line Sakana DS 2027 takes the award-winning Sakana platform and gives it a Dylan Siggers refresh, blending that familiar surfy carve with tweaks for more playful, switch-friendly skiing. You still get the wide shovel, swallowtail outline and cambered mid-body that let you drive powerful arcs on firm snow while floating easily in softer conditions. A slightly turned-up tail and reinforced construction help it cope with landings, chunder and creative lines all over the hill, whether you are slashing side hits or hunting pow pockets. With its directional, back-mounted stance and lively flex, the Sakana DS rewards strong technique but stays forgiving enough for progressing riders who want something fun and different underfoot.
- Surfy swallowtail shape: Lets you smear and slash turns while still holding a confident edge on harder snow.
- Camber underfoot: Adds bite and energy for powerful carving and lively transitions between turns.
- Wide, early-rise tip: Provides easy float in soft snow and smooth initiation when you roll the ski on edge.
- Directional mount and flex: Keeps the ride stable at speed while staying playful enough for creative all-mountain lines.
- Reinforced construction: Built to handle rough snow, harder charging and repeated landings.
- Turned-up tail: Makes riding and landing switch more manageable without losing that distinctive Sakana feel.
