Line’s Optic 96 is a metal‑laminated all‑mountain twin that lets you ski fast with confidence from hardpack laps to side‑hit missions.
The Line Optic 96 is a 96 mm underfoot all‑mountain/freeride ski built for high‑speed resort skiing with enough versatility to handle everything from groomers to chop and sidecountry stashes. It combines an Aspen wood core with Line’s Gas Pedal Metal Titanal layout – a chevron‑shaped Titanal plate underfoot that expands toward the tip and tail – to deliver strong edge grip, good damping and a progressive flex that feels stable without being a dead plank. A modern rocker/camber/rocker profile with Early Rise in the tip and tail plus a directional twin shape keeps turn initiation easy and forgiving while still holding a carve, making it a realistic one‑ski quiver for intermediate through expert skiers who like to mix carving, bumps, trees and the odd soft‑snow day.
