The Lib Tech Orca II Snowboard 2027 is Travis Rice’s updated volume-shifted freeride charger, built for powerful resort riding, carving, and deep days with a more agile, switch-friendlier shape.
| Rider Type | Aggressive all-mountain freeride |
| Shape | Tapered directional |
| Flex | Medium-stiff |
| Rocker | Hybrid C2 camber/rocker |
| Ability | Strong intermediate to expert |
The Orca II evolves the original Orca concept into a more versatile, all-mountain predator that still loves steep lines and deep snow but turns and rides switch more smoothly. A tapered directional outline with a rounded, slightly softer nose helps the board roll into turns and stay effortlessly on top when the snow stacks up, while the compact, powerful tail drives out of carves and gives you loads of pop. Lib Tech’s C2 hybrid profile pairs camber underfoot with mild rocker between the feet for reliable edge hold, stability at speed, and a looser, surfy feel when you want it. Volume-shifted sizing means you ride it shorter than your usual board, keeping it quick edge to edge without sacrificing float. Finished with Magne-Traction edges and a fast base, it’s made for riders who want a directional daily driver that can handle storm days and hardpack in equal measure.
- Next-gen Orca shape: Updated taper and outline for smoother turn initiation and improved switch performance over the original Orca.
- Directional volume-shifted ride: Extra surface area in the nose lets you size down for quick response while keeping strong float and stability.
- C2 hybrid camber profile: Camber under each foot with subtle central rocker balances edge hold, pop, and a surfy feel in softer snow.
- Magne-Traction grip: Serrated edge design adds reliable bite on icy groomers and firm faces without feeling catchy.
- Eco-conscious build: Features recycled ocean-bound topsheet materials and locally sourced woods in the core for a lighter, more sustainable construction.
- Resort and pow ready: Designed to slash resort sidehits, rip carves, and drop into deeper lines without needing a separate quiver board.
