Charge harder from groomers to pow with the Lib Tech Lib Rig Snowboard 2027, Austen Sweetin’s early-rise directional camber freeride board built for powerful carves, high-speed stability and deep-day float.
| Rider Type | Aggressive all-mountain / freeride resort rider |
| Shape | Directional with mild taper |
| Flex | Mid-to-stiff (around 6–7/10) |
| Rocker | Early-rise directional camber (camber with rockered nose) |
| Ability | Intermediate to advanced |
The 2027 Lib Rig keeps the same hard-charging personality as previous seasons with a few size tweaks, combining a powerful camber platform with a streamlined, floaty nose and a tail that still rides happily switch. Elliptical directional camber underfoot gives you strong edge hold, pop and stability, while the early-rise nose, mild taper and deep sidecut help it plane in soft snow and rail big arcs on edge. Lib’s Original Power Construction core (aspen/paulownia), Tri-Ax/Bi-Ax glass and Magne-Traction edges deliver a lively but damp ride that grips confidently on firm resort days. A fast sintered base rounds things out for riders who like to point it. It is a one-board quiver for directional riders who want to carve hard, charge steeps and still have a forgiving-enough feel to handle chopped resort conditions.
- Early-rise directional camber: Camber through most of the running length with a rockered nose for drive, precision and easy float when it gets deep.
- Directional, mildly tapered shape: Floaty, streamlined nose, switch-friendly tail and subtle taper for buoyancy and smooth, locked-in carves.
- Magne-Traction edges: Serrated edge profile adds extra contact points for strong grip on hardpack and icy resort snow.
- Original Power Construction: Light, durable aspen/paulownia wood core with Tri-Ax/Bi-Ax fibreglass and eco-sublimated topsheet for responsive, snappy flex.
- Sintered base: Rugged, fast sintered base (knife-cut on current models) that holds wax well for consistent speed.
- Size range for bigger riders: Mild volume-shift platform with no-toe-drag waist widths, designed to be ridden around 1–2 cm longer than your usual board.
