The Jones Aviator 2.0 Snowboard 2027 is a precision-built directional twin for aggressive riders who want maximum power, edge hold, and confidence at speed across the whole mountain.
| Rider Type | Advanced all-mountain / freestyle |
| Shape | Directional Twin |
| Flex | Mid-stiff, lively |
| Rocker | True Camber with 3D Contour Base 2.0 |
| Ability | Advanced to Expert |
The Aviator 2.0 is built for riders who like to ride fast, hold a clean edge, and send it with confidence on and off piste. A full traditional camber profile runs from contact point to contact point, loading the board with energy for powerful turn exits, solid landings, and serious stability at speed. The directional twin shape keeps it balanced for riding and landing switch, while still offering the drive and control you want for carving and steeper terrain. Jones’ 3D Contour Base 2.0 mellows out turn initiation and reduces edge catch, especially when you are pushing into variable or tracked-out snow. Under the hood, the Boost Core, Koroyd® damping, and Carbon Flax stringers combine to make the board lighter, stiffer, and more responsive without feeling harsh underfoot. Finished with a fast Sintered 8000 base, the Aviator 2.0 is a no-nonsense all-mountain/freestyle weapon for advanced riders who want a board that keeps up when they’re on it.
- True Camber Profile: Full-length camber delivers powerful edge hold, strong pop, and rock-solid stability at speed.
- Directional Twin Shape: Freestyle-friendly twin feel with added drive and control for carving and riding fast.
- 3D Contour Base 2.0: Subtle bevel in the tip and tail smooths turn transitions and reduces edge catch.

- Carbon Flax Stringers: Add torsional stiffness and snap for precise response without excessive chatter.
- Sintered 8000 Base: Fast, durable base that holds wax well and keeps you gliding in a wide range of snow conditions.

Title: Precision Meets Playfulness – A True All-Mountain Weapon
I’ve ridden the Jones Aviator 2.0 for about 10 full days now across groomers, powder stashes, and some firm spring slush, and I’m genuinely impressed. This board strikes an incredible balance between aggressive carving stability and nimble surfy feel. The camber profile gives you that locked-in edge hold on icy mornings, yet the spoon nose floats effortlessly when the snow softens up.
What stood out most is the torsional response – it’s stiff enough to power through chunder at speed, but still forgiving enough for playful side-hits and buttering around when you want to dial it back. The 154 size felt spot-on for my 75kg frame and size 9 boots; no drag, plenty of float.
If I had to nitpick, the sintered base is lightning-fast but does crave regular waxing to stay that way – not a dealbreaker, just something to keep up with. Also, the topsheet is gorgeous but shows micro-scratches easier than I'd like.
Overall, this board has reignited my love for charging hard while still letting me mess around. Absolutely recommend it for advanced riders who want one board to do it all without compromise. 5 stars.
