The radial sidecut is effective and predictable. The overall shape allows complete freedom of expression by keeping the board a neutral, yet responsive board.

Full Poplar – Yes.'s baseline core for tip-to-tail woodcore snowboard construction. A core that strikes a predictable balance between durability and consistent flex and lightweight feel.

BASE

Extruded – This material is formed by extrusion and is softer than sintered bases. At the speeds many riders take, this material is actually quicker than sintered bases when waxed correctly. It retains wax better because it's more porous and is easy to fix with a P-Tex stick if it gets scratched.

The YES Shifter is a soft flexing twin board designed for park riding and jibbing. Unlike other boards, the Y3D profile begins outside the contact area, giving it a more direct edge feeling.

Extruded 

This Carbon Layup configuration adds longitudinal stiffness to the nose and tail area’s while keeping the board torsionally softer between the bindings. This will help keeping the nose from folding in high speed run and makes your ollies pop as high as possible while keeping the board nice and responsive between the feet.

YES worked closely with their women’s team to get a strong park board and wanted to apply the park performance to the Y3D. So, YES made a version of the Rival for the women who want the performance of the triple base. The Menace will help you tear down the park and dominate the rails. This mid-soft women’s board is made for the backyard park rider with ambition.

Radial - When basics are good, a radial edge is the classic snowboard sidecut, where the radius draws a single circle. It's the most basic way to turn, it will allow you to carve but you are limited in the variations of turns you can make.

Camrock 3-4-3 - The response of camber with the floatability of rocker. Camber between your feet acts as a spring, keeping your contact points on the ground as you go in and out of turns and allowing you to keep that edge hold longer. Once compressed the camber will accentuate the rocker and lift the nose out more, allowing it to float.

SHAPE 

UnderBite edges re-distribute a rider’s weight in such a way that it enhances turning ease and edge hold. Creating divots inward at the binding area reduces and disrupts the surface area of the edge that has contact with the snow while the board is turning. This increases the edge pressure by distributing your weight/energy in the areas where you need it - from the binding out, and through the center of the board where the carving arc is taking place. This segmentation of the sidecut into 3 key zones focuses your body weight onto areas that initiate, hold and release turns.

CORE

Exturded - Just like it says. This material is formed by extrusion. It’s softer than our other two bases, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. You may have your own proof of this when you’re smoking by someone with a dried out “high-end” base. It also retains wax better because it’s more porous and is easy to fix with a P-Tex stick if you get scratches in it.

Tapered UnderBite – Each side of the board’s effective edge is segmented into 3 distinct parts that step horizontally inward rather than tapering. Traditional “tapered boards” take the full sidecut and pull the tail inward, which is away from the arc of your turn – this is why they tend to wash out under hard carving. Tapered UnderBite corrects this by increasing the sidecut depth as you move towards the tail creating a corrective “hook” to the taper. The board blends into turns effortlessly, and has the directional drive and float you’d expect from a tapered board.

Weightless Core – The Weightless Core strikes a critical balance between lightweight and strength. Using a lower density species of Poplar in areas that are not as structured and Paulownia in the areas that are, Yes. was able to shave precious weight. This helps the board not only float, but "feel" floaty.
