Blunt Nose – "How a board glides in powder, crust, corn or any snow more than an inch deep is dictated by it's front contact point and just past it. Next time you are in soft snow watch how much snow comes over the corner of the nose near the contact point. A true-twin shape and camber profile help this snowboard feel the same going regular as it does switch. Outfitted with camber between the feet the Geometric gives riders pop and energy, while a rockered tip-and-tail makes it catch-free and easy to press. A single-species Aspen Core helps to make this softer flexing twin predictable and pressable. Underfoot, we’ve put a low-maintenance extruded base that’s easy to repair for those early season core shots when you’re jibbing whatever is available.

SIDECUT

Linear Quadric Sidecut - A directional sidecut utilizing Quadratic curvature from the tip to the rear insert pack, then progressing into a linear section into the tail. This creates smooth catch-free turn initiation and powerful support through the turn exit without losing grip.

LAMINATES:

SINGLE IMPACT PLATES LAMINATES: Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most. 

CARBON ARRAY 5: This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control. Offered in two levels of technology, 3 & 5.

PRE-CURED GLASS FIBERGLASS: USA-made pre-cured fiberglass optimizes glass to resin ratios to create the most consistent flex pattern possible. No other glass provides this level of stability and control.

SPECS:

Built at K2's Team's request and targeted at the advanced-to-expert level rider, the Antidote is a unisex all-mountain snowboard that blurs the lines between freeride and freestyle. The Andtdote is responsive and slightly setback for hard-charging, all-mountain ripping, but also, you wouldn't be wrong to think this looks a lot like a freestyle snowboard. It has full, traditional camber and is symmetrically shaped, making it super responsive through turns and balanced in the air. Whether you're throwing freestyle tricks into the deep stuff, playfully slaying big mountain, or just attacking the park and the rest of the mountain with equal intensity, the Antidote is the perfect new alternative to the tired choice between directional beefcakes and super soft park twin boards.
